SR Systems Engineer

We are looking to build a team of systems engineers that are committed to testing new products that integrate with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, Service Desk and Forefront Endpoint Protection.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of consulting experience in managing and maintaining Windows environments (Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, 2008, etc.) using enterprise systems management tools (SMS 2007, SCCM 2007, MDT 2010, Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack.
  • Well versed in speaking to customers about possible ways to best manage and maintain their System Center environments.
  • Has a background in automation and scripting deployments.
  • Experience in deploying Windows XP and Windows 7 across an enterprise.
  • Has a background in operating systems management products (SMS 2003, HP Radia, BMC, Altiris, etc.).
  • Experience building functional and technical test case scenarios to accurately test and provide feedback to development on tools and products developed.
  • Creative, thinks outside the box, has an eagerness to learn and is truly committed to the success of a new emerging product and company.
  • Detail oriented, is able to clearly communicate their ideas and work with uncertainty.
  • Willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.

Application Packager

We are currently seeking an Application Packager who utilizes the industry’s best practices and standard developing tools to create customized, automated software application installations for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and application deployment partners to create solutions.
  • Build, and assist on all application packaging builds.
  • Review and document business requirements to ensure a successful design.
  • Test and certify packages prior to deployment into the production environment.
  • Document package build process for future builds or changes.
  • Utilize company’s flow process and/or work with the company’s deployment teams to ensure package hand off with accurate package information.
  • Provide application performance tuning as needed.

Qualifications:

  • MSI and EXE application packaging experience using Wise, Installshield, and other packaging tools.
  • Experience integrating/testing through Microsoft SCCM 2007.
  • Microsoft Application Virtualization (formerly SoftGrid) experience.
  • Windows XP/Vista/7 technical support experience with advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting.
  • Ability to proactively identify technical issues, address, resolve and implement into the solution.
  • Ability to work independently and to complete tasks on time and to specification.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 3-5 years experience.

This is a contract position with an opportunity to grow into a full-time employee position.

Application Packaging Tester

We are currently seeking an Application Packaging Tester to ensure that all packaged application installations delivered to clients conform to industry and company standards, and adhere to best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QA documentation of tests to be completed against each application, configuration and component.
  • Work with customers and packagers to develop and implement use cases for each application.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that issues are flagged and fixed in a new package version.
  • Provide key feature and functionality identification, testing, and documentation of applications and application compatibility.

Qualifications:
